They shared with us that they’ve been living the road live for several years, Sam for the last 10 and Raquel for the last 5! It was inspiring to say the least and really great to see one of my favorite vehicles up close and in-person. They both work for YogaSlackers and Sam is actually a co-founder. Our favorites of course was the VW vans, of which there were several! We also had a chance to check out this sweet 1988 Mitsubishi Delica, pictured above, that was owned by Sam Salwei and Raquel Hernández. There was something for everyone there this weekend. The expo is a chance for adventure enthusiasts to get together and learn from hundreds of classes, check out new films related to overlanding, participate in roundtable discussions, see demonstrations of new products and visit over 300 vendors in the adventure travel industry. It was our second time to the event and we had an absolute blast. ![]() This past weekend we went to the Biltmore Estate to check out what was happening at the Overland Expo! It’s a chance for people to, as the Overland Expo’s motto explains: “Get outfitted, get trained, get inspired – get going!” The Overland Expo – Asheville Location: Biltmore Estate ![]()
